Marvin the Martian Ray Gun
thingiverse
THIS IS NOT A REAL FIREARM! Sorry I thought I'd start with the clarification since 'Firearm Replica' can cause a bit of controversy at the moment! This replica was created to replicate the classic Marvin the Martian Blaster from Looney Tunes, to be used as a prop with a costume. If you assemble things correctly, the trigger actually moves, and the dial on the back to control the size of your KABOOM turns as well. Make sure you align these parts into position as you glue the 2 halves of the body together, following the exploded view shown in the images. The parts were split this way to fit on a compact printer, and minimize support material requirements. Industrial adhesive is great for bonding everything together, some primer and sanding to clean things up, and a nice yellow spray paint to finish things off. Read all the details and see photos of the process of 3D printing on my blog https://myblog.com/2015/08/07/marvin-the-martian-blaster-complete/
