Marvin Dual Color
thingiverse
This is my approach to customize 3D Hub's Marvin to display dual colors. Note: By simple editing of the SCAD file, you can select to include different body/suit components in each STL for distinct multicolor preferences. Consult instructions or SCAD comments for further details. Instructions Edit the solitary vector at the top of the attached .SCAD file to personalize which of the following body elements are included in your STL: legs, helmet, head, ear cylinders, ear hemispheres, and @ keychain loop. Once you've exported the first file, change "Nozzle" to 2 and export again for the corresponding body elements. Want the legs to match the face but not the helmet? Done. Both ear pieces of the same color? Easy. Thanks to no error checking, you can also remove a body component entirely. Mark that element as "2" in the vector, and it will not show up in either STL (I'm looking at you, keychain loop). It's a feature.
With this file you will be able to print Marvin Dual Color with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Marvin Dual Color.
