Marvel Champions Infinity Box Trays

Marvel Champions Infinity Box Trays

This is a set of trays to replace the single wooden tray on the Infinity Box from Tesseract games. I use that box to hold Marvel Champions, and I use Burger Tokens instead of the cardboard tokens that come with the game. The right side includes 3 trays that hold various resources, the smaller villain rule books, and the villain dial. The left side is a single large tray that holds the larger rule books, rules reference, hero instruction sheets/posters, and hero dials. I designed the right tray as a single unit and then split it into three trays. I provided the split versions of the 3MF files. But if you have a large enough 3D printer and want to print it as one piece, you can open one of the MC Tray OpenSCAD files and comment out the boxes that mask portions of the large tray. You can then export the full tray as a single piece, although I prefer having the tray in three pieces just so I can lay it out better on the table. For the large tray on the left, I have provided it as a single piece and you can slice it in pieces to fit your print bed. I printed it in two pieces and then used glue to hold the pieces together. I provided some 2 mm thick joiner pieces to be glued along the left and right sides for this purpose. Because the tray is designed to have these extra 2 mm pieces glued to each side, if you have a large enough print bed and want to print the tray as one piece, you should increase the width by 4 mm. Otherwise, there will be a gap between it and the trays on the right side. This was my first 3D tray design (although I posted one of my later designs to Thingiverse before I posted this one), so I welcome any improvements. Steps for a print bed that is not large enough for the large left tray: 1. Print one each of MC Tray 1, 2, and 3. 2. Split the large tray (Marvel Champions Rule Book and Hero Dials) into two pieces in your slicer. Print each of those pieces. 3. Print two of the 200 mm joiner pieces, and two of the 142 mm joiner pieces. 4. Glue one 200 mm and one 142 mm joiner piece to the left and right sides of the large tray to hold it all together. The tray is 342 mm long, so these joiner pieces collectively span the full length of the left and right sides. Edit: It looks like, as of June 2021, Tesseract Games has updated its Infinity Box so the top tray is now 12 mm deep instead of 25 mm deep. I designed these trays for the version of the Infinity Box that has a 25 mm deep tray.
