Marui Samurai Tyres
thingiverse
Now that tires for the Samurai are rarer than hens' teeth, I decided to try printing some myself. I discovered that if you print this model laid on its side, it can be printed without infill and yield a fairly soft, yet usable tire. I printed it with 1.2mm thick top and bottom layers, 1.0mm wall thickness, and a 0.15mm layer height. If you've never printed with TPU before, the key to success is slowing your printer way down... Normally, I print at 40-50mm per second, but with TPU, I found that the best results come from printing at a maximum of 15mm per second.
