Maru from Planes 2
thingiverse
Maru from Planes 2 brings Arduino motor control to life. With an Arduino and a motor at its core, Maru will advance steadily for 10 seconds. If it encounters an object in its path with the front rail, Maru will swiftly turn 90 degrees and resume its advancement for another 10 seconds, repeating this sequence until it clears its surroundings before coming to a complete stop. The essential components required for Maru's operation, excluding the printed parts, include: * Arduino DC Gear Motor (available on Amazon) * A servo motor designed for small-scale applications, such as hobby aircraft or drones * An Arduino Nano Atmega328p microcontroller board * Two momentary switches to serve as inputs for Maru's control system * 3M screws and nuts for secure assembly For an enhanced experience that includes spoken communication, consider adding: * A speaker capable of producing high-quality audio * An audio module designed specifically for Arduino-based projects
