Martini Design Coaster
thingiverse
Human: I crafted a custom martini design featuring two elegant olives. This innovative concept seamlessly transforms into a stunning logo and matching coaster. After numerous trials, my first successful conversion of an Illustrator vector file is now 3D printable. Instructions I started with a precise object created in Adobe illustrator. I then exported it as an AutoCAD Drawing (*.dwg) file to launch the next stage. I imported this design into Google SketchUp, where I utilized the "Product Design & Woodworking Template" to draw a box base around the martini glass. I selected everything and initiated the edit process, selecting all entities, followed by Explode and Intersect with Model commands. To finalize my adjustments, I pushed and pulled the model as desired. Next, I exported it as an STL file. To complete the project, I imported the file into Makerbot, where I scaled it according to need.
