Human: A high-definition, 3D representation of Martin Disler's Umgebung der Liebe as it was showcased at the Bündner Kunstmuseum Chur from February 16 to May 26, 2019, is now available for viewing. Copyright for the painting belongs to the Gottfried Keller Stiftung and the Bündner Kunstmuseum Chur. Martin Disler created this massive artwork in 1981 over four nights in Stuttgart for the Würtembergischer Kunstverein, where it was briefly displayed before being stored due to its enormous size. This scan captures only a small fraction of the painting's registered resolution, approximately 70,000 by 10,000 pixels per wall. It was digitized using a Phase One 100Mpix Camera provided by Profot Switzerland. To experience the artwork in all its glory, view it without the staircase and interior details of the exhibition room, which were removed to facilitate a 360-degree perspective. Each wall's geometrically precise orthomosaic is available in TIFF format.
