If you take a moment to donate, it will help offset the $1000 in development costs we incurred for acoustic and material research. Even a small contribution can make a big difference as my project partner and I navigate graduate school on a tight budget - a dollar or two could even buy us a Chipotle dinner instead of relying on top ramen for one night. You can support our efforts by donating to paypal.me/sam236. This project was a Senior Design Project for our Mechanical Engineering Degrees, where we designed a 3D printed guitar inspired by the Martin Trez Guitar. Our research focused on the vibration properties of ABS M30 used in printing the body. The design drew from Luther blueprints and was drastically modified to suit our needs. More information will be shared once I have time. The project involved multiple locations: the body was printed at ThinkBox of Case Western University, the neck at The University of Akron, and the truss rod was machined at The University of Akron. We drew inspiration from LoboCNC's work on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/LoboCNC). Skills learned through this project include welding.
