Martin_Baker MB5 for microarmor
thingiverse
Martin Baker MB5, often considered the ultimate propeller interceptor ever, earned high praise from ace pilot Janusz Żurakowski, who claimed it was better than the Spitfire, a testament to its exceptional performance. Unfortunately, it never entered production due to generals' preference for jets over traditional aircraft designs. A detailed model of the Martin Baker MB5 in full dimensions has been recreated using Blender 2.79b and scaled down to 1/100 for the .stl file format. To prepare it for 3D printing, the slicer software was used to scale down the design by 35%. For reference, the dice used are 15mm in size, providing a clear visual representation of the model's dimensions. As with previous projects, this one meets the condition: if it can't be printed, it won't be posted. However, upon reviewing the initial .stl file, an important detail was overlooked - the exhaust stacks were missing. A revised version 2 has been created to rectify this error, although the adjustment is subtle and might not be noticeable at first glance.
