Martin 5 feeder diamond hotend
thingiverse
I designed a custom 3D printed hotend mixer inspired by the Diamond Hotend, available on Thingiverse. The device is compatible with the E3D V6 and features three strategically placed holes for optimized performance. I also created a removable nozzle cap that can be screwed onto the Diamond Hotend, making it easy to adjust the nozzle diameter. I made significant improvements over the next 15 days, refining the design to ensure seamless functionality. I added a crucial hole for the heater element, which is essential for optimal hotend performance. After printing a prototype with my modified Eckerbot at 1.5x scale, I created two videos to demonstrate its features. The first video showcases the printer in action, highlighting its capabilities and ease of use: https://youtu.be/eoyiPQAxNNM The second video delves deeper into the design process and provides a detailed explanation of how the hotend mixer works: https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=zr5XNSopdbU
