Martians coming home! One formfactor based Pyramidal martian colony design.

Hey friends! This is a martian colony design for a #MakerBotMars challenge. As we all know, pyramids in Egypt were built by martians. Now we are going to pay same for mars - build pyramids on it! Concept is based on ideology that pyramids are awesome structure which is very close to natural forms and gives you a list of bonuses when build from smaller blocks: Only two different block form factor are needed Pyramidal design is extremley durable against all enviromental effects Modular construction allows to start with small steps Damage proof - if one block is damaged, all others may be sealed, like a submarine! Damaged blocks may be replaced, even if they are deep inside of the construction, with proper rail system. Modules can have any inner configuration you need Pyramidal blocks are easy to print(you wont need that ugly mounting system on mars) Outer blocks at big buildings like living blocks may be filled with martian soil to absorb radiation(gives you underground building bonuses without need to dig in) It gives you beauty of simplicity Pick few of these two bricks and try yourself! %%%Remember to scale the model so rails are printed good enough!!%%%
