The iconic Martian tripod from H.G. Wells' classic tale, "The War of the Worlds". This menacing machine has a sturdy base and can be used as a game piece in your favorite tabletop battles. Explore the world with your very own Martian Tripod! Unleash devastating heat rays on puny human armies or harvest them for a snack later. Fear an ambush? Just launch a canister of black smoke to choke out the opposition. Wreck trees, wade across lakes and see the world from a new perspective...and finally, sink that pesky Yamato ship! The first model is more of a prototype, I printed it and let's just say it wasn't exactly a work of art. The second version has a clever feature - its basket can hold smaller miniatures, roughly 28mm in size (I hope so too!). The third one takes inspiration from the original novel artwork, with a cartoonish twist.
