This is a GoPro Hero 5/6/7 mount, designed with "Reelsteady" precision, which effectively dampens high frequency vibrations while amplifying low frequency vibrations that stabilization algorithms can more easily handle. Consequently, using Reelsteady/Hypersmooth with this mount is practically mandatory. Place the lenscap on the camera and slide it into the mount alongside the camera. If it becomes too tight, apply some heat to soften the TPU. The same applies when fitting the lenscap to the GoPro or inserting a TBS filter into the cap – a bit of warmth makes all the difference. Furthermore, refrain from forcing the filter into the cap; instead, manipulate the cap around the filter to avoid cracking it. TPU is pliable, but glass is not. For the Martian 2 / Martian Anniversary frame, a 25-degree uptilt angle is ideal. The original Lenscap by Nytfox is also available, as well as an experimental "slot" type that allows you to slide the glass in from the top if your TPU ends up being too rigid. A 2.5mm hole at the bottom enables you to push it back out. Nytfox deserves credit for the original design, and v_valik provided the Fusion360 files. The attached modified Fusion360 files are available, with the mount part being a solid model that's easily editable (including sketches). Unfortunately, the lenscap and GoPro case are a jumbled mix of mesh models and surface patches. It would be ideal if people uploaded the original project files in the first place, thereby eliminating the need to remix meshes.
