Cesare Benaglia was born in 1932 in Valbrembo where he still resides and operates a studio at Via Cascina Frera. As a young man, he worked as a skilled carpenter until the age of thirty, when he devoted himself full-time to painting. Twenty years into his artistic career, he discovered the world of sculpture, building upon the strong foundation laid by his early manual labor. His creative temperament guided him in researching and mastering various techniques, eventually leading him to integrate digital operations into his artistic pursuits, which have since become an integral part of his life's work.
