Marshall Stanmore iPad Stand

Hi! I got a Marshall Stanmore Speaker for Christmas and I'm excited about my new project - making a sturdy stand that securely attaches to my iPad Mini at home. I used my 3D printer to create this model with precision, printing it in Laywoo-D3 with a super-fine 0.1mm layer height and a 0.5mm nozzle temperature of 220 degrees on my Rapide Lite 200 machine. Once the three parts were printed, I sanded them thoroughly using four different grits to give them a smooth finish, then added some color by applying oil to each part. The result was incredibly satisfying - even up close, you can hardly tell the difference between the sanding surfaces! As an extra challenge, I also experimented with using wood glue on Laywoo-D3 and I'm thrilled to report that it works beautifully. However, in this project, I opted for a small screw to attach the model securely to the wooden frame underneath the leather-like surface of my speaker. This whole experience has been an absolute blast - thanks for sharing my enthusiasm!
