A versatile cargo platform designed for all land vehicles is being developed for HP and Local Motors' "Mars Home Planet Urbanization Challenge." Standardized parts make it easy to replace and store. This vehicle reduces manufacturing, transportation, infrastructure, and design costs while simplifying Mars operations. The platform can carry heavy loads and serve as a mobile base for various vehicles by attaching different modules. Compact packages transport all parts to Mars. Simplified systems ensure reliability in transport. Less EVA time is needed to assemble platforms, even allowing for on-site part manufacturing in long-stay colonies. A PowerPoint presentation offers detailed explanations, and contact is appreciated for design questions or suggestions. Assemblies can be combined to form larger platforms, with the full assembly available in "MODULE STRUCTURE ASSEMBLY.iam." The parabolic dish model was modified from FredSWUG's original on GrabCAD.
