In the Mars One mission, four crew members could access live feeds from forward cameras anytime. However, during each work shift, they would make a long journey to the viewport in pressurized compartments for a private moment. The 3D model of the Mars One logo was printed on a Printrbot Metal Simple at 0.2mm layer height using white PLA filament. To enhance its appearance, multiple layers of ink and acrylics were applied to create depth and rich red tones. The model can be printed in smaller sizes but as a standalone print, it is recommended to scale up to 150-200% for a more impactful display.
