A Mars ISRU (In-Situ Recourse Utilization) Rover trailer design is depicted through surface modeling in this artwork. The model's parts were derived from NASA Mars rover images and test vehicles or were creatively imagined by the artist. The piece was created for a class project during the individual's first semester of graduate school. An additional feature, a crew cabin on the initial "trailer" segment, was planned but not executed.
