Celebrate the Mars Exploration Rovers, Spirit and Opportunity with this amazing 3D printed model. The rovers feature rolling wheels that move freely, pivoting suspension systems that absorb shock, and articulated mast cameras and antennas that capture stunning views of the Martian landscape. The rovers can also fold into their landing configurations, showcasing their incredible versatility. The arm has a large 8x8mm square hole where you can create your own custom tools for the rover to hold, allowing for endless possibilities and creativity. Printing Notes: Use supports for all components except for the solar panels, which require careful attention. I have included files for the solar panel axels, but due to their small size, printers may struggle to print them accurately. 3mm metal rods work wonderfully as a substitute. Print one of each part, excluding: 6 x tires wheel center outer wheel inner wheel 2 x strut pin 1 2 x strut pin 2 3 x arm knob Several parts can be printed with color changes for more accurate colors, and these parts are listed below: Solar Panels: print at 5.2mm and 5.5mm z-heights Camera Array: print at 6.6mm z-height Small camera: print at 5.6mm z-height Top Mast: print at 104.6mm z-height Small Antenna: print at 10mm z-height Large Antenna: print at 47mm and 133.4mm z-heights Sun Dial: print at 1.4mm z-height High Gain Antenna: print at 0.6mm z-height
