Marquette University Bottle Opener
grabcad
I'm making this custom bottle opener as a gift for my brother Jonathan who's currently studying at Marquette University. This project has consumed me day and night, but it'll be worth it when he uses it to crack open his favorite cold ones. When people ask where he got that awesome bottle opener with the Marquette logo and his name on it, he can proudly say it was 3D printed. The design includes a penny slit in the center which is what actually opens bottles instead of plastic. To ensure proper function, I carefully took the exact dimensions of a coin to fit perfectly into the model. This tiny bottle opener is small, convenient and fits easily in your pocket for quick access whenever you need it. Whether you're out with friends or family and can't open your Coronas, don't worry – this amazing 3D printable model has got you covered. With just a few cardboard boxes as base, I created a perfectly sized half sphere that's the exact dimensions of a bottle cap for an easy and great open every time.
