Marquee for the Pimoroni Picade 10" version
myminifactory
Having constructed the Pimoroni Picade arcade machine and enjoyed it immensely, I felt that it needed a marquee with illuminated lighting effects, but unfortunately, none were available, so I took matters into my own hands and designed one from scratch. The bonus picture showcases an additional option. A backplate is included in the files for creating a "real" arcade-style marquee light, along with a DXF file to cut your own acrylic design and add artwork behind it. I recommend using 2mm acrylic to accommodate printed artwork. To power this setup, I'm utilizing an Arduino Nano paired with Neopixels for dynamic lighting effects. This particular installation features a button atop the arcade machine, allowing users to switch between animations or static light displays at their discretion.
