Helping Hands that utilize Loc-Line style CNC posable lines are designed to offer numerous options for placing helping hand hoses. The unit allows users to add or remove the number of hoses as needed and features a weighted design. This unit consists of two primary components: the base and the lid. The base is equipped with eight 11.5mm holes that can accommodate Loc-Line hoses. These holes are designed to be tapped using a standard tap and die set, eliminating the need for pre-threaded parts due to the varying diameters of the hoses. In the center of the platform lies an 84x84x9mm cavity perfect for containing lead shot or BB-gun BB's. This feature enables users to achieve a precise fit and maintain a stable working environment. The lid is designed with an oversized profile, allowing it to be sanded down to a snug fit. Initially, the design intended for the lid to be glued in place; however, a friction-fit approach was chosen to facilitate disassembly if necessary in the future. Users have the option to choose between the two methods: either print the lid at 99% scale and use glue, or opt for the friction-fit design for added convenience.
