I love Marmite. Yet, every time I crave some, the jar is almost depleted, forcing me to waste precious minutes scraping its bottom. So this morning, I placed the jar on a dish towel while making toast in an attempt to corral it towards a corner. Friends say I get a bit fixated. Fair enough; perhaps this isn't the most efficient way to spend an hour. However, I'll compensate for that lost time over the next year by saving minutes previously spent scraping the jar's bottom.
