Marlin Firmware for CTC Bizer Dual with Ramps 1.4 I've updated the Bizer after my Mightyboard burned out. I upgraded the Ramps to 24V, as it's designed to run on 24V and I wanted to match the original settings. There are some guides online that make this process relatively easy, but you can also buy pre-upgraded Ramps now. You can still run everything on 12V if you prefer. The thermocouples from my E3D V6 clone hotends need to be replaced with thermistors. I used the hotends I got from a different source. For the heat bed, I created a custom thermistor file since the default one didn't work for me. You'll also need to solder in a 4.7K Ohm resistor if it's not already done. https://www.3d-druck-community.de/showthread.php?tid=1988&page=25 Note that this firmware is only tested up to 120 degrees Celsius and has a hard limit at 120 degrees in the Marlin EEB configuration for dual setup. This should be sufficient for most filament types. The PIN assignments are as follows: * D8: Heat bed * D9: Extruder 0 (Left) on Display 1 * D10: Extruder 1 (Right) on Display 2 * D11: Fan for parts * D5: Hotend fan E0 * D6: Hotend fan E1 I've created custom circuits to control the fans using Mosfet's. You can also buy a RRD Fan Extender for your Ramps, but these usually only work up to 20V and won't be compatible with a 24V setup. You should adjust the steps for your printer if mine don't fit. The original steps are 94,137 for X and Y, and you'll also need to adjust E-steps since I use custom-fractured extruders with MK7 gears. I've reduced acceleration to 500 and jerk to 8. This makes everything run a bit slower, but the quality is better. If you find it too slow, you can increase these settings or use M-code commands in your slicer software like Simplify3D. To attach the display 12864 to my CTC, I designed a custom case. My system runs very reliably, but: I disclaim all liability for damages that may occur due to this firmware or instructions.
