The nylon bearing on a IKEA Markus chair can break, causing a clunking sound when leaning back and forward. On the bottom of the hydrolic piston is a clip you can remove. Then you can slide the swivel base off to acces the bearing. Print this in PETG and add some grease. The bearing balls should snap in place with some pliers and move freely.My chair is a 2008 model Markus.
