A custom replacement handle for a budget Marksman brand slingshot allows you to attach a fishing reel at the bottom using hose clamps.\nI geocache frequently and occasionally I must retrieve a container from up high; this setup works flawlessly to string some paracord over an unused bridge support.\nI got this idea several years ago from a friend into ham radio who used a similar setup to string antennas.\nSimilar setups can be seen in action for quickly pulling string and wire across suspended ceilings.\nWho knows what others may create with it! Just remember not to try fishing with it; launching a weight propelled by a slingshot with a hook attached sounds like an easy way to lose an ear or eye, and perhaps even rip open your jugular vein... you get the picture.
