Markqv Collapsible Bungee Tow Hook for 10mm Tube
cults3d
This is a larger version of Markqv's design, tailored to accommodate 10mm aluminum tubing, which is more readily available at my location. Since I plan to install this on my big XUAV Clouds, opting for a bigger size seems like the better choice. To assemble the mount, start by preparing a 37mm long piece of 10mm outer diameter aluminum tube. Insert it into the mount and align it properly. Next, drill a 3mm hole through the tube, then pass an M3 screw through it. Begin trimming the excess material using a saw or Dremel. For reference, I've attached a picture to help with the process. When assembling the M3 screw and nut, make sure the length is just right, applying some Loctite for added security. The 3D printer used to create this mount is the DIY-Creality CR-10, available at Banggood (https://www.banggood.com/DIY-Creality-CR-10-3D-Printer-300300400mm-Printing-Size-1_75mm-0_4mm-Nozzle-p-1085645.html?p=DG23031123036201501P).
