Marking gaugeV2 - Adjustable and fixed width
thingiverse
This is a versatile marking gauge designed for precise measurements. Two precision holes enable users to mark beams with ease. By printing two single pin marking beams, you can convert it into an adjustable marking gauge or a cutting gauge. The fixed-width marking beams are specifically designed for mortise and tenon joints that require 6mm, 12mm, 20mm, or 24mm widths. However, the two single pin marking beams allow users to measure out mortise and tenons of any desired width. This updated version builds upon an earlier design, which has been refined to use wedges instead of traditional bolts. The original model's bolt holes were spaced too closely together for knobs to fit properly. As a result, this revised version requires fewer metal components, consisting only of the marking pins (nails).
