I'd like to introduce you to the Alpha Release of the Runners for the Bottom for WomBot. When I first got my hands on this, I have to admit that I wasn't exactly thrilled with the bed. The way the wheels sit horizontally on the sides of the 20x20 extrusion just didn't quite do it for me. And, as it turns out, I was right to be skeptical - those wheels and bearings have a tendency to get chewed up pretty quickly :(. This new release gives you the option to put the wheels at both the top and bottom of your setup. Now, keep in mind that this is just an Alpha release, so there's still some checking and testing to be done before it's ready for prime time. The idea here is to place the wheel on the inside, while the eccentric nut can go either on the outside or inside - either way, it'll get the job done and give you a snug fit. What this means is that your wheels will be able to run smoothly on top and bottom, with the added bonus of being able to adjust the height using an M5 screw from the bed. And if needed, you can even throw in an extra eccentric nut to help move things around. One last thing to keep in mind: this is still a completely untested Alpha release, so use it at your own risk.
