Mark II Remix with Bolts

Mark II Remix with Bolts

thingiverse

I rebuilt the Mark II with parts held together by printable bolts, nuts, and screws. Every component was revised to fit more snugly, ensuring poses stay in place. One key takeaway from redesigning this model is that PLA lacks elasticity - it won't hold a spring-like tension. This might explain why I doubt the fingers will ever function properly. I printed the hip bolts in matching colors to the hips for aesthetic continuity. Prints should be free of supports, assuming all parts are oriented correctly during printing. Hands were printed at a slower pace than usual. The presence of bolt threads may necessitate 0.1mm resolution, but I always print with this precision anyway. No adjustments or scaling should be needed to achieve proper prints.
