This is a custom-designed mold for makers of bespoke segmented pen blanks who prefer to avoid the time-consuming process of cutting individual pieces. The design allows you to fill cells with different colored casting resins, achieving the look of a segmented pen without excessive effort. To prevent spills and resin overflows, I've created interior walls that extend all the way up to the top of each cell. This design also features solid walls and 100% infill, enabling users to work with Alumilite and other heat-sensitive resins that might distort previous printed molds during curing. Additionally, this mold boasts uniform angles for a more polished appearance in the finished pen, making it an ideal solution for those who value precision and aesthetic appeal.
