Turtle shell container that is relatively easy to print in multiple colors and put together. Spiked shell version found here.. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/mario-spiked-turtle-shell-stash-pot I numbered the hex plates for the shell along with the location on the main top shell part to make it easy to put together when printing all these pieces out separately. The most complicated part is getting the latch spring to print out at a decent quality to work. I have been printing this part in PETG, although experimenting with infill levels with PLA you might find a solution that works for you. I have included 3 versions on the spring latch to help out. This module is rather small and I have been scaling it up roughly 250% as seen in pics. Scale is key to get all the pieces to fit together properly. Figure out what size you think looks good with the Main Shell part in Cura, and go from there... Example... 250% looked great on the main shell Hex and tri pieces scaled to 249%, or 1% less should fit the main shell Shell trim left/right scaled to 251.8%, or 1.8% greater should fit the main shell just fine Under belly, spring latch, and button latch scaled to 251%, or 1% greater should fit everything just fine I have been printing the spring latch in PETG for its, well springy properties. I print V3thiner spring in PETG, 3 walls, 4 bottom/tops, 40% infill, at .28 layer Hight scaled to 251% and it works great. Most pieces are self explanatory when gluing and putting together. Although I do want to mention. ONLY GLUE THE BOTTOM TEETH OF THE SPRING TO THE UNDER BELLY HOLES. Otherwise the spring wont spring, obviously. if you have any questions, please let me know.
