There's a few other versions of Mario planters floating around, but none matched my needs. Printed on a Prusa i3 MK3S+.

Pipes

There are two different height pipes you can print: 148mm tall and 106mm tall. Each pipe has holes around the base that allow water to flow in and out of the reservoir. I recommend using supports for the overhang on the pipe outlet.

Base Reservoir

The base has a small line along the inside that marks how high you can fill with water before replacing the pot. The pot will displace the water up to the top of the base without overflowing. In order to avoid issues with support for the top circular rim of the base, you can paint a blue line around the top with the support enforce painter. Then, choose “For support enforcers only” in the Supports dropdown. See the images for an example.

Side Paneling

There are two side panel models. The relief is the one I used because I don't have a multi-material upgrade. Insert color changes at each level transition. The color order should be Olive Brown > White > Black > Olive Brown. If you have a multi-material upgrade, you can slice the multi material model and manually paint the tiles in PrusaSlicer. use the included screenshot from the Super Mario game to paint the pixels the correct color.

The colors for the pipe are pretty much any green you want. For the base and panels I used Olive Brown (ColorFabb Color On Demand), White, and Black (both from Inland).

The pictures of my own make show an incorrect side paneling. I messed up one pixel that was supposed to be white. This error does not exist on the stl files included in this Print.

GCode

The included gcode files are for the pictured planter. 0.2mm layers. Recommended supports. Prusa i3 MK3S+.
