Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit gates for small tracks
prusaprinters
This is not my idea, I found the design for cardboard gates and only modified them to have 3D model printouts. The gate is smaller than the one received with the kart and allows making smaller tracks for those of us with smaller flats. It doesn't take much space after disassembling and it survives longer than the cardboard versions :) Kudos to Playfool they made it initially within a PDF file. You can find smaller gates pictures for paper printouts (needed for AR detection in the game) in Playfool video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x87Yuc2_sv4) or on Nintendo website (https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/53135), and resize them to fit smaller gates yourself). Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: CR-10S Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 / 0.3 Infill: 20% Filament: Spectrum Pla Notes: Set up your print area with multiple parts at once, depending on your table size. Print out laying flat. Once printout is done you can use a lighter or a different source of heat to bend the parts in the slimmest areas (you can try with no heating but the part might break). update: if you print the part at 0.3 the items will be easy to bend even without a heat source but more fragile (also takes less space when storing since it returns to 1 plane like a sheet of paper after disassembly) Category: Toys & Games
