Mario Capship
thingiverse
I was astonished to find that Mario's iconic spaceship was nowhere in sight, so I decided to build one myself! It's missing some details like the flag, and the gears below the ship are still absent; however, I'm currently working on adding the pipes that protrude from the back. My intention is to utilize a wooden dowel rod from the top and a round paper lantern as the sail, making it an affordable and effortless project. You can even add a light source if you choose to hang it up! Keep in mind that none of these components are pegged or keyed, so you'll need to secure them together using glue (or acetone if working with ABS). The four pieces that comprise the top section of the hat have labeled LEFT and RIGHT sides; this is indicated when looking at the FRONT of the ship, where the left part corresponds to the left side. All rights to Mario's character belong to Nintendo. This project is marked as Non-Commercial and not intended for resale. Nevertheless, please feel free to print and share (for free) this fun toy!
