The robust Silenus soars across the waves on the back of an Ichthyocentaur, its majestic form slicing through the ocean's surface with ease. The venerable god is portrayed as a sturdy, aging man with a rounded belly and a thinning crown of hair. The marine deity is depicted with the upper torso of a strong, beardless youth, the powerful forelegs of a horse, and the sinuous tail of a serpent-like fish.
