Marine Boat Inspection Hatch 100mm Update: 21 Dec 2019 - New Cover with a rim offset at 0.4mm. It comes standard with two gaskets, one is 2.5mm thick and the other is 3mm thick; this means compression of each gasket will be 0.5mm for the thinner type and 1.0mm for the thicker one! Print the gaskets using TPU filament to ensure a secure fit. Keep in mind that the gasket has a trapezoidal section, so it needs to be press-fit into place for proper alignment. If you encounter issues printing with TPU, refer to my Cura settings for some TPU printed parts: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3812899. However, in this specific design, I used a FLOW of 130% to achieve the desired elasticity; using a flexible filament and a flow of 100% will also yield great results. If you have better settings to share for our situation here, feel free to contribute your expertise! This marine boat inspection hatch uses M5 countersunk bolts - 8 units are included. All parts have been carefully checked for naked edges or errors, ensuring they are print-ready. However, the design's success and fit depend on various factors, so proceed with caution! Design is optimized for printing without support; most of the time, that is! By Costa
