Bruce Ackley from the OSU Weed Management program brought in this marestail plant for study. As part of his work, he grows specimen plants to research herbicides and creates educational materials for agricultural training, including video lessons on plant growth. This is another effort to scan a live plant with a stationary setup and cameras mounted on a rolling rig. Despite some remaining noise, we are still refining the process. The scanning was done using six Canon EOS cameras on a moving rig, while image processing was handled by Agisoft Photoscan.
