Settings for printer from test print: Layer Height: 0.32 mm Walls: 2 Line width: 0.66 mm Bottom layers: 4 Top layers: 4 Infill: 20% An alternative design to umbilical tape for when the umbilical cord does not break on it's own after foaling. Based roughly on the product design by https://www.arsequine.com/umbilical-clamp-10-pkg. With some notable differences in that some pinch points were smoothed near the spring and I used a helical gear style clamp to prevent it from sliding side to side once clipped in place. With all 3D printed springs some experimentation is necessary to get the settings right for your printer to get a good clip. I don't have access to a printer at the moment to fiddle around with this but if someone wants to actually make these and use them let me know via thingiverse message if you need any design modifications or find a print setting that works for you.
