The Brazilian bus and coach manufacturer Marcopolo S.A., founded on August 6, 1949, produces over half of the bus bodies made in Brazil and exports to more than 60 countries. They have four plants in Brazil and additional plants worldwide. Recently, they announced a joint-venture with Tata Motors to enter the Indian market. Marcopolo closed their Portuguese plant in September 2009.The company offers various coach models including microbus, intercity, and touring coach. They released a 3D printable model of the Marcopolo Paradiso at a general scale of 1/48. This was designed using SolidWorks, with STL files available for 3D printing. Additionally, Parasolid XT, STEP, or IGES files are exported for those without SolidWorks. The model can be scaled up or down as needed and printed in any other scale desired. The creator has chosen to keep their reasons for sharing this model a secret but encourages downloading, commenting, and liking the work.
