March Madness Trophy
prusaprinters
Loosely modeled after trophies I've seen that can be ordered, I wanted to create a trophy that:1. Was relatively easy to print2. Challenged me to design3. My March Madness group would enjoyI believe I met all 3 requirements with this design! A few printing notes:1. Scale is weird - I printed at 2000% in the Creality Print slicer.2. Printing as all one piece is theoretically possible, but would need an insane amount of supports. Because of that I've uploaded each individual part.3. The stand and the basketball print better when sliced in half. Creality Print will do that in the slicer, and I believe other slicers have that same functionality. The base should not need splitting or supports. My print settings:- Material: PLA (Mine is printed in Elegoo Silk Golden)- Support: Maybe - If you split the STLs in the slicer properly, you do not need supports. - Walls/perimeters: 4 - Infill: 10-15% for the basketball and base- Infill: 25% minimum for the stand (too long and skinny to have less)- Some bed adhesion may be necessary, it's a small footprint. I've also added some gcode (for my Ender 3 S1) if folks are curious how I split the stand and basketball. If you'd like the text updated, feel free to reach out! I believe there's programs out there that can update text, and if there's enough interest, I'll upload a blank version.
