I'm making a Marble Run for Toto Toys Standard, using PVC pipe. The post height is 35mm x 27.5mm diameter, with the boss being 6mm x 23.5mm diameter. I've set up my support to only touch the build plate. I'm using 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC pipe - it's clear or standard white. The length of the pipe is calculated by multiplying 35 by the number of posts high, then subtracting 14mm. For example: if you have two posts high, the length would be 35 x 2 - 14 = 56mm, which is 2.205". If you have four posts high, it would be 126mm or 4.961", and six posts high would be 196mm or 7.717".
