Still working on it, things will change accordingly. A revised design of the Gzumwalt Marblevator concept replaces the step with a wheel-based lifting mechanism. Check out this video for a better understanding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP2o0gtpFbM Take a look at the original design on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:60778 My current Sketchup drawing is attached, but please note that it hasn't been printed or tested yet. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Update 26.04.15: The wheelbase and base of version 2 have been added. You can check the STL files for your preferred design. The idea behind v2 is to make the wheelbase removable from the base, allowing you to swap it with a new one on a different track. A starting track has also been included; please print three of these tracks and use one as your initial setup. In addition to the revised tracks, I've added arms for attaching to the tracks, similar to those designed by Tressel (STL available separately). Now that you have an understanding of the design, let's proceed to the assembly instructions: Components needed: Motor: Consider using a slower motor to decrease wheel speed; available from Pololu https://www.pololu.com/product/2366 Bearing: Print or purchase 608ZZ bearings, found at various online retailers. Switch: Order this switch for easy connections: https://www.pololu.com/product/1407 Battery holder: I used the one listed below; consider purchasing a separate holder for each AA battery instead of cutting and soldering: https://www.pololu.com/product/1150 9.5mm steel balls are needed; buy them here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BALL-BEARINGS-9-5MM-3-8-PACK-X-100-/200970728122?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ecac9f2ba Parts that require M8 bolts and nuts; you can try printing a printable version: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193647
