Marblevator Baby Steps Revisited is a highly refined iteration of my original Marblevator Baby steps, boasting numerous improvements over its predecessor. A video showcasing the prototype can be viewed here: . Several key enhancements have been incorporated into this design. Firstly, the stair steps ("Step 1.stl" through "Step 5.stl") no longer dislodge when Marblevator Baby Steps Revisited is inverted, thanks in part to valuable feedback from enthusiastic grandkids and curious onlookers. A small compartment has also been designed to securely store the marbles when not in use. Additionally, the surfaces have been optimized for smoothness and continuity, leveraging the advanced design tools available within Autodesk Fusion 360. Operational simplicity is a hallmark of this design, featuring two easily accessible knobs located at the front and rear of the device. Both knobs can be rotated in either direction to operate Marblevator Baby Steps Revisited, making it equally intuitive for left- and right-handed users. To utilize Marblevator Baby Steps Revisited effectively, you will need to procure at least one 8mm (5/16") diameter ball bearing, which serves as the marble. Inevitably, a few files may have been overlooked in the design process. If you encounter any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. Marblevator Baby Steps Revisited was designed using Autodesk Fusion 360 and sliced with Cura 2.3.1 before being printed on both an Ultimaker 2+ Extended and an Ultimaker 3 Extended.
