Marble-Thingi-Run!

Marble-Thingi-Run!

Initially, I was captivated by marble runs and similar toys displayed in store windows during my childhood. Despite never owning one myself, I decided to create a custom set as a gift for my younger cousins at Christmas. This project is ongoing, with updates and additional pieces being added frequently. The new marbleRun-swirl design was a hit with the cousins! However, I wish I could have printed more parts for them. To print these designs, I used an Afinia H-Series 3D printer with specific settings: 0.25mm resolution, loose fill, normal setting and a 30-degree support angle. While some parts may require filing or sanding for smooth operation, I ensured the design fits within my printer's capacity. The marbleRun set includes various pieces like the marbleRun-H (marble slide), marbleRun-I (height extender), marbleRun-EndCatcher (end catcher), marbleHopper (marble loader), marbleRun-mill (marble and mill turner), marbleRun-flipper (marble and flipper turner), marbleRun-2wayExtensions (negative and positive height extenders), marbleRun-2wayExtensionNegative, marbleRun-2wayExtensionPositive, marbleRun-Swirl, marbleRun-XLExtension (extra large extension same height as the marbleRun-Swirl), marbleRun-Curve, marbleRun-2waySplit (split marbles in two directions), marbleRun-Funnel (big funnel for marbles) and marbleRun-Chute (dispenses marbles into the funnel). I will compile all the finalized files into a .zip folder once completed.
