Emperor Septimius Severus, a highly skilled general in military uniform, was born in Leptis Magna, Libya. He had a Syrian wife, Julia Domna, and led campaigns across the Empire before passing away in York, northern Britain, in AD211. As the last great Emperor before the crisis of the third century engulfed the Empire, he left a lasting legacy. This sculpture, originating from Alexandria, Egypt, was created during the Roman period, between AD 193-200. It is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory. Scan The World aims to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access at no cost.
