This figure dons three tiers of attire: a sleeved chiton visible beneath the neckline, secured with a looped knot at the waist; a second chiton or peplos, fastened on both shoulders; and a himation (cloak), draped over the left shoulder and lower body section. The composition of the drapery showcases intricate folds visible beneath layers of semi-transparent fabric, a hallmark of late Hellenistic period sculpture. This Roman replica effectively captures much of the variety and subtlety present in the original work. A portrait head was likely inserted into the hollow recess at the neckline.
