A Greek marble statue dating back to approximately 400-390 B.C., portrays a lion in the classical period. The Parian marble sculpture stands at 79.4 cm high and 161.3 cm long, categorized as a stone sculpture. It is part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection, with accession number 09.221.3, acquired through the Rogers Fund, James Loeb, and anonymous gifts in 1909. Liz Arum captured an image of this piece using Autodesk 123D Catch during a MakerBot Hackathon event at the museum in June 2012.
