The Parian marble statue measures an impressive 31 1/4 inches tall and 63 1/2 inches long, showcasing the skillful craftsmanship of its ancient creators. This magnificent stone carving is now part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection, a gift to the museum from various donors in 1909, including Rogers Fund and James Loeb, with accession number 09.221.3.
