A Greek marble statue from the Classical period depicts a lion, dating back to around 400-390 B.C. The artwork measures 79.4 cm in height and 161.3 cm in length, and is made of Parian marble. It is classified as a stone sculpture and is identified by the accession number 09.221.3. The piece was purchased in 1909 using funds from the Rogers, James Loeb, and anonymous donors. A photo of this statue was captured at the Metropolitan Museum of Art - New York during the Met MakerBot Hackathon in June 2012 by John and Svetlana of Aminimal Studio.
